As your
cruise ship approaches Los Cabos, the dry, brown Baja California landscape gives way to an oasis of lush resorts
and golf courses. Cruise ships call at Cabo San Lucas, anchoring offshore. Passengers
are tendered to the dock at the Cabo San Lucas Marina. Many tour operators have stands
at the marina and will beckon you to take a glass-bottomed-boat ride or a cruise up the coast. Taxis
and tour buses await passengers in the marina's parking lot. A large artisans market at
the marina sells souvenirs, and there's also a snack stand with outdoor tables and chairs. It's
a 10-minute walk from the marina to the heart of Cabo San Lucas along a sidewalk skirting San Lucas Bay. There is no tourist office
in Cabo San Lucas...
